This is our smallest forest unit within the Marathon County Forest System at 80 acres.  This land was donated to Marathon County in 2019 by the Wausau and Marathon County Parks Foundation.  This forest unit is located in the Town of Easton and has a mix of aspen/hardwood/pine on the western side of the property near Rivers Edge Road.  Big Sandy Creek bisects the property with the eastern two-thirds of the property dominated by hemlock/hardwood stands that are over 100 years old.  Currently, parking is only available along Rivers Edge Road.  At this time there are no established walking trails throughout this forest unit.
