This is the third smallest block within the county forest system, at 279 acres. This forest unit sits between the towns of Hatley and Bevent, just east of Pike Lake. This unit is rolling hills, dominated by oak and hardwoods, with some pine plantations and aspen areas. There are good trails for hiking as well as the snowmobile trail cuts across the unit. There is a parking area on Hightower Road, on the north end of this unit.
