Big Rapids Park encompases 33 acres and is located on the Big Eau Pleine River in west central Marathon County.  The river is dammed thereby providing swimming and fishing opportunities.  The lower area of the park has picnic tables, picnic area, vault restrooms, and a dumpster while the upper area has playground equipment, a water pump, open shelter, grills, picnic tables, horseshoe pits, a dumpster, and paved path.
